Two matches were held at trentside one of the matches produced a good bag of bream and silver fish weighing in  at 88.5lbs from peg 47. using a feeder rod.

TRENTSIDE FISHERY POND RECORD SMASHED IN ONE NIGHT.

The pond record of 107lb was smashed Sunday night into Monday morning by a member having a total catch of 125lb 8oz. The record stood for over 1 year.

His catch of Bream:  58lb 12oz.  Carp :  49lb 12oz.  Tench : 17lb.

A good night's fishing , the weather was warm in the late afternoon and the evening was as warm as the day light hours, not a lot  sleep but plenty of fish , Well done Matt.

Well he done it again, Matt with his catch of 133Lb of fish has broken his  record yet again he caught  Bream , Tench  Carp and roach  to the weight of 133 lb .

SAYS HE HAD LOADS OF BITS AND BOBS and some nice roach on his carp gear - about 5lb in weight, his session was on the 17 Aug  who would have thought he could beat the last one,

Just a short morning session before work!!!!!!!!! 

Matt had a good nights fishing on the 1st March 2008 this is one of his Sat  night catch,then rest are on the pic page , his total was 13lb common ,3lb Pike, 8lb mirror, 9lb mirror,18.2lb common, 8lb 4oz mirror,5lb Pike,lost one carp, snapped off by another carp , he also had a few bits and bobs on the feeder rod as well, . the pond is fishing well this winter for pike, lots of anglers have reported catches of large pike , lots of jack pike being caught too,
The Man has done it again over 200lb in one over night session, we will have his total as soon as he has sent it to me , hopfully with pics. and i will put it on this page.

The same week a 28lb carp was landed by another of our regular fishers ,  he is a bit shocked, as it took him quite a while to land it by all accounts, "it has a big paddle for a tail" one person said.
